At the Times books blog, it was announced that Dan Brown's ("The Da Vinci Code") new novel will be published in the fall, "The Lost Symbol." I just have to say: It's a great time to be a reader of fantasy-myth-mystery-thriller-adventures (does this genre exist at your local bookstore?). While I wait for Brown's book to land, next up is "The Angel's Game" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Zafon takes us back to the foggy streets of Barcelona and to the Cemetery of Forgotten Books that he first visited in "The Shadow of the Wind."
Oh, and in anticipation of Brown's book, I need to spend some time studying the Masonic symbolism of Washington D.C. -- I'm sure that's bound to be a part of it.
